And there’s Lyall Harris‘s exhibit of collaborative bookworks, Meeting Places, at JMRL’s Crozet Library

Exhibit Dates: January 31-March 14
Explore this collaborative book art by Charlottesville-based book artist-writer Lyall Harris and Florence, Italy-based book artist and printmaker Patricia Silva. These artists engaged in a creative collaboration for two years, which resulted in twelve original “bookworks” that cover a range of subject matter from motherhood to immigration.

“Book art” is an art form where text, image, and structure join to create a unique book and art experience. Join Lyall Harris as she discusses the collaborative book art made with fellow book artist and printmaker, Patricia Silva, in Meeting Places/Luoghi d’incontro, on display at Crozet Library from January 31 – March 14.
