Virginia Center for the Book (JSCC Location): COVID-19 Suspension of Activities now thru June 10 (tbd)

In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, Virginia Center for the Book has suspended all instructional, press and classroom activities at our Jefferson School City Center location.

As a program of Virginia Humanities, we are affiliated with the University of Virginia (UVA) and will be following all UVA policies and procedures related to the Coronavirus. As well as following all state guidelines issued by Governor Northam.
As of March 30, 2020, this includes complying with the Governor’s stay-at-home order and the cancellation of all in-person public events through June 10, 2020. (See VH COVID-19 StatementCOVID-19 Statement)

Although in-Center programming is disrupted, we are actively developing our online-media presence to better engage our community of readers, writers, artists, and book lovers.
