Workshop: Medieval Style Binding with Ginna Cullen
Saturday, December 7, 2019 (10 AM – 4:00 PM)
Participants will make a leather journal that is assembled using one piece of leather folded around Coptic stitched signatures.
Signatures are attached to the leather with glue and the journal ties with a leather strap.
Using folios torn by hand to simulate deckle edges, binders will sew the signatures using a Coptic stitch, assemble the journal with glue, and add the leather tie.
