Create a Zine Workshop
Saturday, March 16, 2024 (11:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Explore the creation of zines from concept through layout and imposition to digital production.
We’ll start our zine exploration with a look at the Center’s publication “Where I’m From” as a basis for a single-sheet zine fold.
Moving on, we’ll look at more complex forms of zine design and their production.

Workshop Details: Create a Zine

  • Sunday, March 16, 2024 – 11 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Instructors: Lana Lambert, Aran Donovan, and Garrett Queen
  • Workshop Size: Max 10 students.
  • Skill level: No previous zine experience is necessary although basic computer skills will be helpful.
  • Location: Virginia Center for the Book (map: Jefferson School City Center)
  • Fee for this standalone session: $70 VCB Members / $80 Non-Members
  • Course fees must be paid to complete your registration.
  • Registration closes on March 10, 2024
  • Fees include all materials related to this workshop.
